Here’s another nice status HUD creation library called KVNProgress from Kevin Hirsch that features some neat visual effects using UIMotionEffect, and the components can be displayed either full screen or with an in-view popup.

With KVNProgress you can customize the colors, and fonts and included are circular progress indicators, error indicators, and checkmark indicators.
